Network Designs and Diagrams

 

Sample Corporate Office Design -This is a sample corporate office that I was the lead engineer on the deployment. The design included hardware and software platforms such as Catalyst 6504, Catalyst 4510R+E, ASR1001s, 5508 Wireless Controllers, 3600 series access points, Cisco Identity Services Engine, NetApp, and UCS C-series servers. We utilized such features and protocols such as dot1x, iSCSI, VSS, BGP, OSPF, DHCP Snooping, PfR, PIM sparse, VLAN pruning, routing protocol authentication, Energywise, SNMP, Solarwinds monitoring and NCM backup, Netflow, SSH, QoS, TACACS, Port Security, RSTP, and Syslog. 

 

Sample Large Site Design - This is a sample large site that I designed and deployed. Due to the size of the building, it included over 40 IDFs with redundant 50 micron fiber directly home running to the layer 3 core that consisted of 4500X series switches and utilized VSS. The design originally included redundant routers but the customer declined to include them. ISE, WiFi and CCTV were also deployed in this design. Some of the features and protocols used at this site include PfR, Zone-based IOS firewall, DHCP Snooping, PIM sparse, Energywise, SNMP, Solarwinds monitoring and NCM backup, Netflow, dot1x, routing protocol authentication, SSH, PBR, route-maps, QoS, TACACS, NTP, EIGRP, BGP, DNS, Port Security, RSTP, and Syslog. 

 

Sample Medium Site Design - This is a sample medium site that I designed and deployed. Due to customer request and SLA requirements, redundant core switches and edge routers were not used.  ISE, WiFi and CCTV were also deployed in this design.
